Colonel Crawford High School is a public high school in Whetstone Township, near North Robinson, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Colonel Crawford Local School District. The school had an enrollment of 281 students as of the 2018–19 school year and the principal is Jake Bruner. The school is named for Colonel William Crawford. The St. Lawrence Continental Divide passes through the northern portion of the campus. Northern 10 Athletic Conference
The Northern 10 Athletic Conference (or Northern 10/N10) is an OHSAA athletic conference that is currently made up of eight schools from northern Ohio and began athletic competition in 2014. Six schools (Buckeye Central, Bucyrus, Colonel Crawford, Upper Sandusky, and Wynford) came from the North Central Conference, three (Carey, Mohawk, and Seneca East) came from the Midland Athletic League, and one ( Ridgedale) came from the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. William Crawford (soldier)
William Crawford (2 September 1732 – 11 June 1782) was an American soldier and surveyor who worked as a western land agent for George Washington. Crawford fought in the French and Indian War and the American Revolutionary War. He was tortured and burned at the stake by American Indians in retaliation for the Gnadenhutten massacre, a notorious slaughter of Indians by militia near the end of the American Revolution.
