Colin Guest
Colin Ernest John Guest (7 October 1937 – 7 December 2018) was an Australian cricketer who played in the Third Test at Sydney in the 1962β63 Ashes series. A fast-medium bowler, Guest played first-class cricket for Victoria cricket team, Victoria from 1958β59 to 1963β64 and for Western Australia cricket team, Western Australia in 1966β67. Cricket career During the 1962β63 season Guest took his best innings and match figures (7 for 95 and 10 for 134) for Victoria against Western Australia in Melbourne. He was brought in to the Test side to replace Ken Mackay. Guest was used to support Alan Keith Davidson, Alan Davidson and Garth McKenzie. Although Australia won the Test, and Guest took part in an important partnership with Barry Shepherd for the tenth wicket, Guest failed to take a wicket and was dropped in favour of a return for Mackay. Sam Gannon
John Bryant "Sam" Gannon (8 February 1947 β 5 February 2021) was an Australian cricketer who played in three Test matches during the 1977/78 season. Career Gannon made his first-class debut for Western Australia in 1966β67, taking three wickets against Victoria and 6/107 against South Australia. He played in the Shield-winning WA sides of 1967β68 and took seven wickets against the touring Indian side. In 1970β71 he took 4/41 against the touring English side. In 1971β72 he took 5/97 against Victoria. WA won the Shield that year. From November 1972 he did not play for WA for five years. Below is a chronological list of cricketers to have represented Victoria at first-class level. Ian James Brayshaw (born 14 January 1942) is a former Australian sportsman. He played both Australian rules football and cricket. Both his sons, Mark Brayshaw and James Brayshaw, were noted athletes in their respective sports, and three of his grandsons have been members of AFL squads. Football career He played Australian rules football at a high level, winning a premiership with in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL), but is best known for his cricket career. Cricket career A right-handed all-rounder, Brayshaw played over 100 first-class games for Western Australia, and he captained the side on several occasions.
