Colby Fainga'a (born 31 March 1991) is an Australian professional rugby union player who plays for Lyon in the Top 14. Career ACT Brumbies Fainga'a made his Super Rugby debut for the Brumbies in 2010 against the Chiefs in Canberra. Melbourne Rebels In April 2013, he signed with the for the 2014 Super Rugby season. On 7 August 2015, Fainga'a, along with Scott Fuglistaller were appointed co-captains of Melbourne Rising for the 2015 National Rugby Championship season. Chiefs (Super Rugby Franchise)
The Chiefs (formerly known as the Waikato Chiefs and officially called the Gallagher Chiefs for sponsorship reasons) are a New Zealand professional rugby union team based in Hamilton, Waikato. The team competes in the Super Rugby competition, previously known as the Super 12 and Super 14, and are one of the competition's five New Zealand teams. Their primary home ground is Waikato Stadium. The 2010 Super 14 season kicked off in February 2010 with pre-season matches held from mid-January. It finished on 29 May. The 2010 season was the fifth and last season of the expanded Super 14 format. The schedule, which covers 3½ months, featured a total of 94 matches, with each team playing one full round-robin against the 13 other teams, two semi-finals and a final. Andy Friend
Andrew Friend (born 24 April 1969) is an Australian rugby union coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of Irish province Connacht. He was previously head coach of the Australia Sevens team, the Brumbies in Super Rugby, English club Harlequins, and Canon Eagles and Suntory Sungoliath in the Japanese Top League. Playing career Friend was selected in the Australia Schoolboys rugby team for 1986–87 before going on to play provincial rugby for the ACT Kookaburras. His position of choice was full-back. Club coaching Friend began his coaching career within an Australian Institute of Sport rugby programme in 1995. He held assistant coaching positions at the New South Wales Waratahs and the Brumbies.
