Colargol
Colargol is a fictional bear created by French writer Olga Pouchine in the 1950s. Colargol first became famous through a series of children's recordings by Philips Records in the 1960s. It is the story of a little bear who wants to sing and travel the world, but lacks the natural ability. Colargol on television Following the success of the Colargol records, Albert Barillé's animation company Procidis started production on ''Les Aventures de Colargol'', a stop-motion animated series starring Colargol. Barillé enlisted the Polish animator Tadeusz Wilkosz and Se-ma-for in Łódź to create the animation. Music for the series was performed by Mireille, with orchestration by Jean-Michel Defaye and lyrics by Victor Villien. The series was produced from 1967 to 1974, comprising 53 thirteen-minute episodes which were broadcast in many European countries. ''Les Aventures de Colargol'' is an animated television series which ran for 53 episodes of 13 minutes each, created by Albert Barillé after the Colargol created by Olga Pouchine and broadcast from November 9, to 1974 on the Deuxième chaîne de l’ORTF. Albert Barillé (14 February 1920 – 5 February 2009) was a French television producer, creator, screenwriter, cartoonist, and founder of Procidis. He is the creator of the puppet animated series ''Les Aventures de Colargol'', and the series '' Once Upon a Time...''. Se-ma-for was a Polish List of animation studios, animation studio. Founded in Łódź, Poland in 1947, the company has created many animated cartoons and stop motion animations for young and older audiences. The name, meaning literally ''Se-ma-phore'', is an acronym of ''Studio Małych Form Filmowych'' - Studio of Small Film Forms. The studio was defuncted in 2018. Colin Abel Jeavons (born 20 October 1929) is a retired British television actor. Career Jeavons' earliest television role was as Jules Neraud in an episode of the 1956 anthology series of teleplays ''Nom-de-Plume''. Broadcast live, it is unknown if any recordings of the production exist. He began an association with Dickens productions on BBC Television in 1959 with ''Bleak House'' as Richard Carstone, and '' Great Expectations'' (for the first time) as Herbert Pocket. The same year he played Prince Hal/Henry V in the BBC's ''The Life and Death of Sir John Falstaff''.
