Coke Studio Season 9
The ninth season of the Pakistani music television series '' Coke Studio'' commenced airing in Pakistan on 13 August 2016, concluded on 24 September 2016 and contained seven episodes. Season nine aired Fridays (digitally) and Saturdays (televised), on various timings and channels across the country. The Strings and Coca-Cola returned as an executive producers, while for the first time in series history, season was composed by six music directors, namely Noori, Shani Arshad, Jaffer Zaidi, Faakhir Mehmood, Shiraz Uppal, and Shuja Haider under the supervision of Strings. Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri marked his debut and final appearance with this season shortly before his assassination on 22 June 2016. Junaid Khan (singer)
Junaid Khan (born as Junaid Khan Niazi 2 November 1981) is a Pakistani actor, producer and singer-songwriter. Since the early 2000s he's the lead vocalist of the Lahore-based rock band Call, which has released two commercially successful albums, ''Jilawatan'' and ''Dhoom''. As an actor he's best known for his roles in serials ''Sun Yaara'' (2017), ''Ishq Tamasha'' (2018) and '' Yaariyan'' (2019), . Javed Bashir
Javed Bashir ( Punjabi, ur, ; born 8 August 1973) is a Pakistani playback singer who mainly sings classical songs. Javed has sung songs for many Bollywood movies including ''Cocktail'', ''Kahaani'', ''Rush'', ''Bombay Talkies'', ''Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'', and ''Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!''. Jabar Abbas
Jabar Abbas is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and musician who started his career in 1997 as child artist. He gained notability during his presidential tenure of Nazir Ahmed Musical Society at Government College University, Lahore from 20032007. He then appeared in the political satire show '' Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain'' where he recorded more than three hundred parody songs. In 2012, he released his first single "Chan Mahi". Faakhir
Faakhir Mehmood ( ur, ) is a Pakistani actor, singer, keyboradist, composer and music producer. He started out his career with the Pakistani musical group Awaz. However, due to conflicts of interest, the band split in 2000 and they all went to become solo artists. The band Awaz also consisted of well known musician Haroon. Early life and career Faakhir attended the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. During his university years, he met another young singer, Haroon. Together, they formed the band Awaz in 1992. Faakhir joined the band as a keyboardist and Asad Ahmed as a guitarist. After the band split in 2000, Faakhir embarked on a solo career. Damia Farooq (born 3 December 1998) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and musician. Basit Ali (Urdu: باسط علی, born 13 December 1970) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who played in 19 Test cricket, Test matches and 50 One Day Internationals from 1993 to 1996. Ali Aziz Sethi (Urdu/; ; born July 2, 1984) is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, composer, and author. Sethi rose to prominence with his debut novel, '' The Wish Maker'' (2009).
