Cody Wilson (baseball)
Cody Roger George Wilson (born July 4, 1996) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Washington Nationals organization. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut in 2021. Wilson played junior college baseball for the Palm Beach State College Panthers from 2016–2017. In 2018, Wilson went on to Florida Atlantic University and played college baseball for the Florida Atlantic Owls. The Washington Nationals selected Wilson in the 13th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. Amateur career A resident of Jupiter, Florida, Wilson attended Jupiter Community High School, where he was a standout athlete who played baseball, basketball, and football. During his baseball career at Jupiter Community High School playing under coach Andy Mook, Wilson was named First Team All-Conference and Florida Region All-American Honorable Mention in 2015. Harrisburg Senators
The Harrisburg Senators are a Minor League Baseball team of the Eastern League, and the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who play their home games at FNB Field on City Island, which opened in 1987 and has a seating capacity of 6,187. The "Senators" nickname refers to the host city being the state's capital and thus home of the Pennsylvania legislature. The team colors are red, navy blue, gold, and white, the same of the parent club, the Washington Nationals. Jupiter Community High School, also known as Jupiter High School and JHS, is a public high school in Jupiter, Florida, United States. JHS is a part of the School District of Palm Beach County and is the northernmost high school in Palm Beach County. There are over 3300 students enrolled in the school. Joshua Aubry Tomlin (born October 19, 1984) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves. Tomlin was drafted by the Indians in the 19th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft. Kyle Keston McGowin (born November 27, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Washington Nationals. Amateur career McGowin is from Sag Harbor, New York. He attended Pierson High School, and pitched for the school's baseball team. After graduating in 2010, he enrolled at Savannah State University, and played college baseball for the Savannah State Tigers. The 2021 Washington Nationals season was the Nationals' 17th season as the baseball franchise of Major League Baseball in the District of Columbia, the 14th season at Nationals Park, and the 53rd since the original team was started in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Hagerstown Suns
The Hagerstown Suns were a Minor League Baseball team based in Hagerstown, Maryland. They were a member of the South Atlantic League and, from 2007 through 2020, were the Class A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. They played their home games at Municipal Stadium which was opened in 1930 and seats 4,600 people. The team mascot was Woolie, a giant woolly bear caterpillar.
