The Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast, formerly known as Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England, is a bottler of Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, and Canada Dry soft drinks in the New England region as well as almost the entirety of upstate New York (state), New York. The Coca-Cola Company does not own an interest, as the company is 100% owned by Japan-based Kirin Company, Kirin Brewery, who until 2018 also owned the rights to the Moxie soft drink nationwide. History The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England (CCNNE) was founded in Laconia, New Hampshire in 1977. Today it operates 16 distribution centers in all six New England states, as well as upstate New York. CCNNE also bottles for Cadbury-Schweppes, Rocstar Campbells and Cornucopia. Barq's is an American brand of root beer created by Edward Barq and bottled since the beginning of the 20th century. It is owned by the Coca-Cola Company. It was known as "Barq's Famous Olde Tyme Root Beer" until 2012. Orangina () is a lightly carbonated beverage made from carbonated water, 12% citrus juice (10% from concentrated orange, 2% from a combination of concentrated lemon, concentrated mandarin, and concentrated grapefruit juices), as well as 2% orange pulp. Full Throttle is an energy drink brand produced by Monster Beverage. It debuted in late 2004 in the United States and Canada under its former owner The Coca-Cola Company. It is known for its sponsorship of National Hot Rod Association competitions from 2008 to 2012. On June 12, 2015, Monster Beverage closed on the deal to acquire The Coca-Cola Company's energy drinks line. Coca-Cola transferred ownership of all of its worldwide energy businesses including NOS, Full Throttle and nine smaller brands to Monster.
