Club Sportivo Peñarol
Club Sportivo Peñarol is a sports association primarily dedicated to Association football, football founded on 24 November 1918 and based in the town of Chimbas, near the city of San Juan, Argentina. The club has a rich history in the Liga Sanjuanina de fútbol. After playing the 2019 Torneo Regional Federal Amateur he was promoted to the Torneo Federal A for the first time in its history. He is currently in the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. History The club was founded on 24 November 1918 in the Plaza de la Concepción, located in the capital of San Juan. The club took its name from Club Atlético Peñarol, Peñarol of Uruguay and took the colors of Club Atlético Chacarita Juniors, Chacarita Juniors of Buenos Aires, the colors red, white, and black. But in the first order of t-shirts, from Buenos Aires they sent the clothing with the colors red, white and blue (instead of black) by mistake.
