Club Africain
Club Africain ( ar, النادي الإفريقي) is a Tunisian football club based in Tunis that competes in the Tunisian Championship. It fields several sports teams, including football, handball, basketball, swimming and volleyball. The football team was the first Tunisian club to win an international trophy, when they won the Maghreb Cup Winners Cup in 1971. Twenty years later, in 1991, Club Africain became the first Tunisian team to win the African Champions League. Club Africain (basketball)
Club Africain ( ar, النادي الإفريقي) is a Tunisian professional basketball club from Tunis. The club competes in the Championnat National A. The team has won the national championship four times, the last time being in 2016. Notable players of the team include senior men's Tunisian national basketball team members Mourad El Mabrouk, Marouan Kechrid, Marouen Lahmar, and Naim Dhifallah. History The basketball section of Club Africain was established in 1956. The team entered the first-level Championnat National A in the 1979–80 season. Three years later, in 1982, the club won its first trophy when it captured the Tunisian Cup. Rival ES Radès was defeated in the final with a score of 86–71. Stade Olympique De Radès
Stade Olympique Hamadi Agrebi, opened as Stade 7 November, is a multi-purpose stadium in Radès, Tunis, Tunisia about 10 kilometers south-east of downtown Tunis, in the center of the Olympic City. It is currently used mostly for football matches and it also has facilities for athletics. The stadium has a capacity of up to 60,000 spectators and was built in 2001 for the 2001 Mediterranean Games. The stadium and is considered to be one of the best stadiums in Africa. 2010 North African Cup Of Champions
The 2010 North African Cup of Champions was the third edition of the competition since its inception in 2008. The North African Cup of Champions was a tournament designed by the Union of North African Football (UNAF) that puts together the winners of the domestic leagues around North Africa. The tournament contains representatives from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia. History On October 6, the representatives of the Federation of North African Football (FNAF) met in Tunis. They agreed that North Africa, once one of the strongest regions in African football, did not have a regional competition that represented the region.
