Clinton Anderson (Wisconsin Politician)
Clinton M. Anderson (born May 26, 1993) is an American politician from Beloit, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 45th Assembly district since January 2023. He is also currently a member of the Beloit city council. Biography Clinton Anderson was and raised in the city of Beloit, Wisconsin. He graduated from the Beloit public schools in 2011, and received an associate's degree from University of Wisconsin–Whitewater at Rock County in 2016. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and received his bachelor's degree in psychology in 2018. Since graduating from college, he has worked as a volunteer coordinator at a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. Wisconsin's 45th Assembly District
The 45th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises most of eastern and central Green County and western and southwestern Rock County. It includes the most of the city of Beloit, as well as the cities of Evansville and Brodhead and the villages of Albany, Monticello, and Orfordville. It also contains Beloit College. Wisconsin Government Accountability Board
The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (G.A.B.) was a regulatory agency for the State of Wisconsin which administered and enforced Wisconsin law pertaining to campaign finance, elections, ethics and lobbying. The agency was re-organized, over the opposition of many Democratic legislators, into two separate agencies (Ethics and Elections Commissions) following several controversies. Composition The Board consisted of six members, all former state judges, who serve staggered, six-year terms. Board members were appointed by the Governor, and served part-time, receiving '' per diems'' for each meeting they attended. 2022 Wisconsin State Assembly Election
The Wisconsin State Assembly elections of 2022 were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. This was the first election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census. Before the election, 61 Assembly seats were held by Republicans and 38 seats were held by Democrats. The primary election was held on August 9, 2022. Wisconsin Elections Commission
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is a bipartisan regulatory agency of the State of Wisconsin established to administer and enforce election laws in the state. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was established by a 2015 act of the Wisconsin Legislature which also established the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to administer campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws. The two commissions began operation on June 30, 2016, replacing the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), which was abolished. The Government Accountability Board had been established in 2008 to replace the Wisconsin Elections Board and Wisconsin Ethics Board. Mark Spreitzer (born December 16, 1986) is an American Democratic politician from Beloit, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing Wisconsin's 15th State Senate district since January 2023.
