Clifton High School, Bristol
Clifton High School is a co-educational independent school in Clifton, Bristol, England. The school is the only one in the region to operate the Diamond Edge model of education. This model means boys and girls are educated together from Nursery to Year 6, then separately in some subjects between Years 7 and 9. In Years 7 to 9 boys and girls are taught separately for English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Games. They are then taught together in all subjects from Years 10 to 13. Clifton High School was founded as an all-girls' school in 1877 for girls aged 7–17, and the nearby Clifton College was then a boys' school. In 1887, a preparatory class was set-up where boys were soon admitted. It became fully coeducational in 2009. It is a member of the Society of Heads. Clifton High School (CHS) is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from the city of Clifton in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Clifton Public Schools. It has the largest student body in a single facility amongst high schools in New Jersey; Elizabeth High School had more students, but its students have been spread over multiple campuses. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,962 students and 212.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.0:1. Clifton Unified School District
The Clifton Unified School District was the school district in Clifton, Arizona. It contained two schools, Laugharn Elementary School and Clifton High School until the closing of the district in 2010. Clifton High School Up until September 2010, it also operated Clifton High School (colors maroon and gold, mascot the Trojans).
