The creek forms in the southeastern portion of Clearcreek Township, Warren County, Ohio, Clearcreek Township, with major tributaries including (from east to west) Mad Run, Beech Run, Bull Run, Richards Run, Twin Creek, Gander Run, Goose Run, and Dearth Run. The watershed includes the highest point in Warren County east of Five Points (elevation 1,055 feet). It drains most of Clearcreek Township, Warren County, Ohio, Clearcreek Township, Springboro, Ohio, much of Franklin Township, Warren County, Ohio, Franklin Township, and then discharges into the Great Miami River in Franklin, Ohio. Clearcreek Township is one of the eleven townships of Warren County, Ohio, United States, located in the north central portion of the county. It had a population of 20,974 in 2000, up from 13,344 in 1990; of this total, 8,747 lived in the unincorporated portions of the township. It was originally about forty-two square miles in area. Franklin, Ohio
Franklin is a city in Warren County, Ohio, United States. The population was 11,771 at the 2010 census. The Great Miami River flows through Franklin. Ohio State Routes 73, 123 and 741 pass through Franklin, while Interstate 75 passes on the east side of the city. History Franklin was founded by General William C. Schenck, in 1796. The settlement was named for Benjamin Franklin. Franklin was incorporated in 1814, and became a city in 1951. One of the first four post offices in Warren County was established in Franklin in 1805.
