Clazziquai
Clazziquai Project (Hangul: ), also known as Clazziquai, is a South Korean electropop band that combines several genres including electronic music, acid jazz and house. The band's first short unofficial albums were released online in 2001, spreading its music through words of "netizens," who positively received the band's music. They remained underground until the release of their first album ''Instant Pig'' in 2004, selling over 80,000 copies. DJ Clazzi (born Kim Sung-hoon; 15 November 1974), better known simply by his stage name Clazzi, is a South Korean composer, singer, lyricist, record producer and DJ. He is the leader of the South Korean electropop band Clazziquai, that was formed in 2001 and debuted in 2004 with the album ''Instant Pig''. In January 2012, he made his solo debut with ''Infant'', an album that includes collaborations with a number of artists, including Seulong of 2AM and members of Sunny Hill. Metrotronics is a 2008 EP from the South Korean group Clazziquai. Clazziquai teamed up with Pentavision for their Metro Project that soon packaged the minor release of DJ MAX series after DJ MAX Portable 2 named as DJ MAX Portable Clazziquai Edition for PlayStation Portable. 7 songs from Metrotronics (Electronics, Flea, Color, Night Stage, Creator, Freedom, Come to me) are included for gameplay in DJ MAX Portable Clazziquai Edition. Alex Chu (born Chu Hun-gon September 2, 1979), known simply as Alex (), is a Korean-Canadian singer and actor. He is the male vocalist of the South Korean electropop band Clazziquai. Biography Having immigrated to Canada with his family, Alex rose to fame upon returning to South Korea years later as part of the group Clazziquai. The group's popularity skyrocketed after featuring on the soundtrack of hit drama series ''My Lovely Samsoon''. Choi Soo-jin (Hangul: 최수진; born July 5, 1979), better known by her stage name Horan (Hangul: 호란) is a South Korean singer and actress. ''My Lovely Sam Soon'' (, lit. ''My Name Is Kim Sam-soon'') is a South Korean television series based on the internet novel of the same title by Ji Soo-hyun, which was published on March 9, 2004. Touted as the Korean version of ''Bridget Jones's Diary'', it starred Kim Sun-a (who gained 15 pounds for the role), Hyun Bin, Jung Ryeo-won and Daniel Henney. Fluxus Music is an independent record label based in South Korea. History It was formed in 2002 by Kim Byung-chan (also known as Chan Kim) (an alumnus of the Berklee College of Music), who worked as a sound engineer, opened Nanjang Communications and acted directly as a musician at Korean rock band Boohwal and the United States local band Out of the Blue.
