Claus Pilgaard
Claus Pilgaard (born 30 March 1965), also known as Chili Klaus or Klaus Wunderhits, is a Danish musician and entertainer. He is best known for his ''Chilismagning'' series on the internet and on television. For the series, he invites celebrities and other notable figures on several occasions to eat chili peppers with him. One video in particular, where television presenter Bubber participated in the video, received around 2 million views on YouTube. Internationally, he is known for his collaborations with Sean Evans on his Hot Ones series on the First We Feast YouTube channel. Pilgaard has received numerous awards for his videos. Early life and career Pilgaard is originally from the Tjørring suburb of Herning, but moved to Aarhus in 1992 when he applied for admission to the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. Bhut Jolokia
The ghost pepper, also known as ''bhut jolokia'' (which literally means 'Bhutan pepper' in Assamese), is an interspecific hybrid chili pepper cultivated in Northeast India. It is a hybrid of '' Capsicum chinense'' and ''Capsicum frutescens''. In 2007, ''Guinness World Records'' certified that the ghost pepper was the world's hottest chili pepper, 170 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. The ghost chili is rated at more than one million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs). However, in the race to grow the hottest chili pepper, the ghost chili was superseded by the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper in 2011 and the Carolina Reaper in 2013. City Hall Square, Copenhagen
City Hall Square ( da, Rådhuspladsen, ) is a public square in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark, located in front of the Copenhagen City Hall. Its large size, central location, and affiliation with the city hall makes it a popular venue for a variety of events, celebrations and demonstrations. It is often used as a central point for measuring distances from Copenhagen. Jalousie 'Tango Tzigane'
''Jalousie'' is a tango written by Danish composer Jacob Gade in 1925. Its full title is ''Jalousie "Tango Tzigane" '' (''Jealousy "Gypsy Tango"''). It soon became popular around the world and is today a classic in the modern songbook. Music The work consists of two themes – the first "a temperamental theme in D minor", followed by a "lyrical section in D major", both with a typical tango rhythm. Danish National Chamber Orchestra
The Danish Chamber Orchestra ( da, Danmarks Underholdningsorkester) is a chamber orchestra in Denmark. It was the Danish National Chamber Orchestra from 1939 to 2014, when it was under the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). Since 2015, it has been funded privately. The roots of the orchestra date back to 1927, with the formation of an orchestra to perform light music at the Hotel Phoenix by Louis Preil. By 1933, (Louis Preil's Dance Orchestra) consisted of 22 musicians and attained great popularity in Denmark via radio transmissions. In 1939, DR then formally established the ( "Danish Radio Entertainment Orchestra") as the national broadcaster's in-house orchestra. It focused on lighter, popular repertoire. Kristian Valen (born 13 October 1974) is a comedian, actor, singer and songwriter originally from Stavanger, Norway. Allan Simonsen
Allan Rodenkam Simonsen (born 15 December 1952) is a Danish former footballer and manager. He most prominently played as a striker for German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning the 1975 and 1979 UEFA Cups, as well as for Barcelona in Spain, winning the 1982 Cup Winners' Cup. Preben Kristensen (born 14 March 1953) is a Danish actor. He first came to attention as one of the musical comedy trio Linie 3 in 1979. He was educated from the drama school of Aarhus Theatre in 1978 and has since the played at most major theaters in Denmark. Michael Mühlebach Christiansen better known by his stage name Jøden (born 7 August 1974 in Skanderborg, Denmark) is a Danish rapper signed to the ArtPeople label. Mühlebach Christiansen was born in Skanderborg but grew up in Aarhus. Born in a Catholic family, but was dubbed Jøden (literally The Jew).
