The City Of Derry Jazz And Big Band Festival is a jazz festival held annually in Derry, Northern Ireland. It started in 2002 and is funded by Derry City and Strabane District Council, Guinness and the Department for Communities and is supported by BBC Radio Foyle and BBC Radio Ulster. It also features some blues and is one of the leading annual music events in Ireland. Derry, officially Londonderry (), is the second-largest city in Northern Ireland and the fifth-largest city on the island of Ireland. BBC Radio Foyle ( ga, BBC Raidió Feabhail) is a BBC Northern Ireland local radio station, serving County Londonderry in Northern Ireland. It is named after the River Foyle which flows through Derry, the city where the station is based. The station broadcasts from BBC's Northland Road studios on 93.1 FM in Derry.
