Cito Culver
Christopher S. "Cito" Culver (born August 26, 1992) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Frontier League. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. Career Culver attended Irondequoit High School in Irondequoit, New York, a suburb of Rochester. He played little league for Irondequoit Athletic Association. New York Yankees Culver was selected by the New York Yankees with their first-round pick, 32nd overall, in the 2010 MLB Draft. While he had already committed to play college baseball for the University of Maryland, he passed on his commitment and instead signed a contract reportedly worth $954,000 with the Yankees. He made his professional debut that season for the Gulf Coast Yankees. He was later promoted to the Staten Island Yankees. Clarence Edwin "Cito" Gaston (; born March 17, 1944) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and manager. His major league career as a player lasted from 1967 to 1978, most notably with the San Diego Padres and Atlanta Braves. He spent his entire managerial career with the Toronto Blue Jays, becoming the first African-American manager in Major League Baseball history to win a World Series title. Cito Gaston managed the Toronto Blue Jays from 1989 to 1997, then again from 2008 to 2010. During this time, he managed the Blue Jays to four American League East division titles (1989, 1991, 1992 and 1993), two American League pennants (1992 and 1993) and two World Series titles (1992 and 1993). Nicolas Joseph 'Claus' Cito (26 May 1882 – 10 October 1965) was a Luxembourgian sculptor educated at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. He is most notable for having created the original Gëlle Fra war memorial, though his work can also be found at the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg. Along with Emile Hulten and Charles Kohl, he worked on the bas-reliefs of the National Resistance Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. In 1909, Cito shared the coveted Prix Grand-duc Adolphe The Prix Grand-Duc Adolphe (Grand-Duke Adolphe Prize) is a Luxembourgian art award awarded every year to one or more artists exhibiting at the ''Salon Artistique'' of the ''Cercle artistique de Luxembourg'' (CAL). The Mercedes-Benz Cito (coded as O520) was a low-floor midibus built by EvoBus for Continental Europe between 1999 and 2003. Unusual for buses at that time, it had a diesel-electric transmission and was planned to have a hybrid engine or a fuel cell at a later stage. The Diesel engine was positioned above the rear axle. The bus was available in three lengths: 8.1 metre, 8.9 metre, and 9.6 metre long and it has a width of 2.35 m. It has a capacity ranged from 31 passengers, 34 passengers and 38 passengers. CITO-TV ( analogue channel 3) is a television station in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, part of the CTV Television Network. Owned and operated by network parent Bell Media, the station has studios on Pine Street North (near Hendry Avenue) in Timmins, and its transmitter is located near Highway 101 (just west of Connaught Road). It also operates rebroadcasters in Kapuskasing (channel 10), Kirkland Lake (channel 11, also serving Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec), Hearst (channel 4) and Chapleau (channel 9). CITO-TV is part of the CTV Northern Ontario sub-system. Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.
