Citizen Force (Peru)
Citizen Force ( es, Fuerza Ciudadana) is a democratic socialist and progressive political party from Peru. Founded in October 2019, the party was institutionalized out of the union of the Decentralist Social Force and Citizens for Change. History Formally announced following the dissolution of the Congress of the Republic of Peru, the party participated in the Together for Peru coalition for the 2020 parliamentary election. Upon the election's poor results as no seats were won, the party left the coalition, and filed for official registration at the National Jury of Elections. The registration was ultimately unsuccessful, as the party was not going to reach the deadline in order to fully participate as an recognized organization at the 2021 general election. Days before the deadline, the party signed a political accord with the registered Purple Party in order to run together for the upcoming election. Decentralist Social Force Party
The Decentralist Social Force Party ( es, Partido Descentralista Fuerza Social) also known as Social Force ( es, Fuerza Social) was a centre-left, social democratic, Peruvian political party. Founded in 1997 as the Party for Social Democracy ( es, Partido por la Democracia Social), in 2007 it changed to its current name after incorporating members of the CONREDES de Junín Movement and the Cajamarca Social Force movement. Julio Armando Guzmán Cáceres (born 31 July 1970) is a Peruvian economist, politician, and leader of the Purple Party who ran for President in the 2021 Peruvian general election, 2021 general elections getting just over 2% of valid votes. He was formerly the leader of the All for Peru political party, running for president for the party in the 2016 Peruvian general election, 2016 general elections, but was disqualified, due to the irregularities of the nomination process. Susel Ana María Paredes Piqué (born 26 July 1963) is a Peruvian lawyer, LGBT rights activist and politician. She was elected to the Congress of the Republic of Peru for the 2021-2026 term. Early life and education Paredes was born in Lima on 26 July 1963. She studied at the Colegio Mater Purissima in the city of Lima. She studied law at the National University of San Marcos, in which she received the professional title of lawyer. General elections were held in Peru on 11 April 2021. The presidential election, which determined the President of Peru, president and the Vice President of Peru, vice presidents, required a run-off between the two top candidates, which was held on 6 June.
