Ciro Danucci (born 28 June 1983) is an Football in Italy, Italian football manager. He is the manager of S.S.D. Città di Brindisi, Brindisi. Biography Born Manduria, in the Province of Taranto, Apulia, Danucci started his senior career at Italian Serie D (Italian fifth level until 2014) club U.G. Manduria Sport, Manduria in 2001. In 2003 Danucci was signed by A.S. Martina Franca 1947, Martina of Lega Pro Prima Divisione, Serie C1. Catania In 2004, he was signed by Serie B club Calcio Catania, Catania. Manduria
Manduria is a city and ''comune'' of Apulia, Italy, in the province of Taranto. With c. 32,000 inhabitants (2013), it is located east of Taranto. History It was an important stronghold of the Messapii against Taras. Archidamus III, king of Sparta, fell beneath its walls in 338 BC, while leading the army of the latter (Manduria is also referred to as "Mandonion" in works by the Greek and Roman historian Plutarch). Manduria revolted against Hannibal, but was taken in 209 BC. Pliny the Elder mentions Manduria in Natural History. He describes a well with a strangely constant water level. No matter how much water was taken out the water level never changed. The well also features an almond tree growing right from the middle of the well shaft. The well may still be seen today. The town was destroyed by the Saracens in the 10th century. The inhabitants rebuilt on the site of the present town, which they renamed Casalnuovo. 2009–10 Lega Pro Prima Divisione
The 2009–10 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season was the thirty-second football league season of Italian Lega Pro Prima Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the second since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from 23 August 2009 to May 2010, and the playoff phase from May to June 2010. The league was contested by 36 teams, geographically divided into two divisions of 18 teams each. Teams only played other teams in their own division, once at home and once away for a total of 34 matches each. Teams finishing first in the regular season, plus one team winning the playoff round from each division were promoted to Serie B; teams finishing last in the regular season, plus two relegation playoff losers from each division were relegated to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione.
