Cinematic Cutscene
A cutscene or event scene (sometimes in-game cinematic or in-game movie) is a sequence in a video game that is not interactive, interrupting the gameplay. Such scenes are used to show conversations between characters, set the mood, reward the player, introduce newer models and gameplay elements, show the effects of a player's actions, create emotional connections, improve pacing or foreshadow future events. Cutscenes often feature "on the fly" rendering, using the gameplay graphics to create scripted events. Cutscenes can also be pre-rendered computer graphics streamed from a video file. Pre-made videos used in video games (either during cutscenes or during the gameplay itself) are referred to as "full motion videos" or "FMVs". Cinematic Music
A film score is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental, or choral pieces called cues, which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question. Scores are written by one or more composers under the guidance of or in collaboration with the film's director or producer and are then most often performed by an ensemble of musicians – usually including an orchestra (most likely a symphony orchestra) or band, instrumental soloists, and choir or vocalists – known as playback singers – and recorded by a sound engineer. A visual narrative (also visual storytelling) is a story told primarily through the use of visual media. The story may be told using still photography, illustration, or video, and can be enhanced with graphics, music, voice and other audio. The Cinematics
The Cinematics were an alternative rock band founded in 2003 in Glasgow, Scotland, and disbanded in 2011. The band released two full-length albums, ''A Strange Education'' (2007) and '' Love and Terror'' (2009), as well as a five-track EP, " Silent Scream EP" (2010), but disbanded in the middle of recording their third full-length album. The band consisted of Scott Rinning, Ramsay Miller, Adam Goemans and Ross Bonney with Larry Reid joining the band in 2008. Cinematic (EP)
''Cinematic'' is the first demo EP by former TNT and current Starbreaker singer Tony Harnell, released on September 23, 2008, for free on his official website, and later through Dovetone Music. It is Harnell's debut release as a solo artist. The EP featured 6 demo songs that might be re-recorded for his full-length solo album, due for release in 2010. The album was produced by Mats Valentin who also recorded all of the instruments. Additional vocals were recorded by Swedish singer Aleena Gibson. Demos of "Out from Under the Black Cloud", "The Show" and "Cinematic" were released in Christmas 2007, on Harnell's Myspace page. Those demos were produced by Lizette von Panajott and orchestrated by Glen Gabriel. Adrian Borland
Adrian Kelvin Borland (6 December 1957 – 26 April 1999) was an English singer, songwriter, guitarist and record producer, best known as the frontman of post-punk band the Sound. Following a substantial musical career spanning numerous groups, as well as a solo career, he succumbed to symptoms of what is known as schizoaffective disorder, and committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on 26 April 1999. Early career Adrian Kelvin Borland was born in Hampstead, London, the son of Bob Borland, a physicist at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, London, and his wife Win, an English teacher. At primary school the young Borland was already friends with future Sound bassist (and Second Layer collaborator) Graham "Green" Bailey, and would meet Stephen Budd, closely involved with his band The Sound in their early years, in his early teens. ''Cinematic'' is the fourth studio album by Australian rapper Illy, first released in November 2013 through ONETWO records. ''Cinematic'' is the sixth studio album by Owl City. It was released independently via Sky Harbor on June 1, 2018. The album debuted at number 115 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Upon the albums release, Young released three "reels" EPs that would include some songs on the album. Background and composition Following the 2015 Owl City album ''Mobile Orchestra'', Adam Young announced that he would suspend work on Owl City to undertake a project of instrumental scores; he released one score, or album, each month in 2016 except January. Also in 2016, he released a Christmas single named "Humbug," which was released for free download and independently.
