Cinema Of Uzbekistan
The history of Uzbek cinema can be divided into two periods: the cinema of Soviet Uzbekistan (1924–1991) and the cinema of independent Uzbekistan (1991–present). History A Cinematographic Department was created in 1920 in what was then the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, and in 1924 the first film studios were created in Bukhara as a cooperative enterprise between the Sevzapkino studio in Russia and the Commissariat of Enlightenment of the Bukharan People's Soviet Republic. Bukhkino, as a Russo-Bukharan cinematographic society, was also founded in 1924 and produced the first feature film in present-day Uzbekistan, ''The Minaret of Death'' by Viacheslav Viskovskii (1925), an exotic-themed film that was successful throughout the Soviet Union and was even exported abroad. Melis Abzalov
Melis Abzalov ( uz, Melis Abzalov, Мелис Абзалов; russian: Мелис Абзалов; November 18, 1938 – October 26, 2016) was an Uzbek people, Uzbek actor, film director, screenwriter, and film producer. His most famous films include ''Suyunchi'' (1982), ''Kelinlar qoʻzgʻoloni (film), Kelinlar qoʻzgʻoloni'' (1984), ''Armon (film), Armon'' (1986), and ''Oʻtgan kunlar (film), Oʻtgan kunlar'' (1997). Abzalov is celebrated as one of the founders and prominent members of the Uzbek film making industry. During his lifetime, he received many honorary titles and awards, including the title Meritorious Artist of Uzbekistan (1987). Life and work Melis Oripovich Abzalov was born on November 18, 1938, in Yangiyul, then the Uzbek SSR. Shuhrat Abbosov
Shuhrat Abbosov (sometimes spelled Shukhrat Abbasov in English; uz, Shuhrat Abbosov/Шуҳрат Аббосов; russian: Шухрат Абба́сов) (16 January 1931 – 25 April 2018) was an Uzbek actor, film director, screenwriter, and film producer. Abbasov was named People’s Artist of the USSR in 1981, later he was also People's artist of Uzbekistan. Abbosov was celebrated as one of the founders of the Uzbek film making industry. Life and career Shuhrat Solihovich Abbosov was born in 1931 in Kokand, Uzbek SSR. He graduated from the Tashkent Medical Vocational School in 1949. Ayub Shahobiddinov
Ayub Shahobiddinov (born 26 May 1977) is an Uzbek film director. He is recognized as honored artist of Uzbekistan. Education Shahobiddinov was born on 26 May 1977 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture in 1999. After graduation he worked as a director for the National TV and Radio company. After some time, he applied for the Institute of Cinematography in Russia, so he studies there for two years and attends the masterclasses of S. Sovolyov and V. Rubinchik. Finishing the course, he returns home and starts his career at the leading film studios of Uzbekistan, Uzbekfilm.
