Cine Animadores
Cine Animadores is a Chilean animation film studio. One of the few full-based animation studios in the country and Latin America, Cine Animadores worked in his first years with TV commercials and later in the final years of the 1990s they started to work on music videos, animated TV series, Flash animation and animated feature films, with the creation of ''Ogu and Mampato in Rapa Nui'', the first modern feature-length animated movie of Chile in 2002. History Founded in 1989, Cine Animadores was originally created as a publicity company specialized in hand-draw animation for TV commercials exclusively for the Chilean television. Years later, Cine Animadores released in 1997 his first non-TV commercial work, the music video of ''La Torre de Babel'' by the Chilean group ''Los Tres''. Animation
Animation is a method by which still figures are manipulated to appear as moving images. In traditional animation, images are drawn or painted by hand on transparent celluloid sheets to be photographed and exhibited on film. Los Tres also known as The Tr3s or The 3, is a Chilean rock band. The band was formed in 1987 in Concepción by Álvaro Henríquez, Roberto Lindl, Francisco Molina and later Ángel Parra Jr. joined. They are one of the most influential rock en español bands. Walter Tournier
Walter Tournier (born July 14, 1944) is a Uruguayan director of animated and documentary films, who is closely identified with that country's enterprising filmmaking community. His work has been well-received both at home and at film festivals in Latin America, Europe and the United States. Career Tournier studied architecture at the University of the Republic in Montevideo, Uruguay, but decided that his true vocation was filmmaking. He joined C3M ( es, Cinemateca del Tercer Mundo) in 1969. He produced his debut film, ''In the Forest There Is Much to Do'', prior to C3M's dissolution in 1974 using cutout animation to tell the story of a father who tries to make his young daughter understand the reason for his incarceration as a political prisoner. ''Seven Seas Pirates'' ( es, Selkirk, el verdadero Robinson Crusoe; ) is a 2012 animated adventure film made in cooperation with Argentina and Chile. It was directed by Uruguayan Walter Tournier, based on a script he wrote in collaboration with Mario Jacob and Enrique Cortés and premiered on Feb. 2, 2012.
