Cielo D'Alcamo
Cielo d'Alcamo (; also spelled Ciullo) was an Italians, Italian poet, born in the early 13th century. He is considered one of the fathers of Italian medieval jester poetry. His traditional surname (which would mean "from Alcamo", a town in northwestern Sicily) has been differently identified by other scholars as Dalcamo. (The modern form of the name "Cielo" is "Michele" or "Michael".) Cielo d'Alcamo and fellow 13th century poet Giacomo da Lentini are credited as the inventors of the love sonnet. D'Alcamo is known exclusively from the poem "Rosa Fresca Aulentissima" ("Fresh and Very Perfumed Rose"), which contained in a single codex now in the Vatican Library. Francesco Ciullo (born 30 September 1979 in Marghera) is an Italian Association football, professional footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward. Football career Ciullo started playing professional football in 1997 with his hometown team S.S.C. Venezia. The next season, he went out to Sandonà (Lega Pro Seconda Divisione, Serie C2), where he played 32 games and he scored 10 goals. After a year Ciullo returned to Venezia team, with which he played two games, but did not score any goals. The next season, Ciullo was engaged by A.C. Reggiana, and had a productive Lega Pro Prima Divisione season with his new club, scoring one goal in ten league games. Ciullo later signed on with Ascoli Calcio where he played 24 games and scored one goal. Next year Ciullo changed again, to play with the U.S. Triestina Calcio team (Lega Pro Prima Divisione). Sicilian School
The Sicilian School was a small community of Sicilian and mainland Italian poets gathered around Frederick II, most of them belonging to his imperial court. Headed by Giacomo da Lentini, they produced more than 300 poems of courtly love between 1230 and 1266, the experiment being continued after Frederick's death by his son, Manfred. Origins These poets drew inspiration from the troubadour poetry of Occitania written in langue d'oc, which applied the feudal code of honor to the relation between a man (acting as the vassal) and a woman (acting as king or superior). ''Le Roman de la Rose'' (''The Romance of the Rose'') is a medieval poem written in Old French and presented as an allegorical dream vision. As poetry, ''The Romance of the Rose'' is a notable instance of courtly literature, purporting to provide a "mirror of love" in which the whole art of romantic love is disclosed. The Kingdom of Sicily ( la, Regnum Siciliae; it, Regno di Sicilia; scn, Regnu di Sicilia) was a state that existed in the south of the Italian Peninsula and for a time the region of Ifriqiya from its founding by Roger II of Sicily in 1130 until 1816. It was a successor state of the County of Sicily, which had been founded in 1071 during the Norman conquest of the southern peninsula. Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor
Frederick II (German: ''Friedrich''; Italian: ''Federico''; Latin: ''Federicus''; 26 December 1194 – 13 December 1250) was King of Sicily from 1198, King of Germany from 1212, King of Italy and Holy Roman Emperor from 1220 and King of Jerusalem from 1225.
