Cido Arena
Kalnapilio Arena, formerly Cido Arena, is the largest multifunctional arena in Panevėžys, Lithuania. It generally hosts track cycling events, as well as basketball games and concerts. The basketball club BC Lietkabelis, which currently competes in the domestic LKL league, uses the facility for all of its LKL home fixtures. It was opened on October 24, 2008. It replaced Sports Palace Aukštaitija as the home of BC Lietkabelis. The arena boasts an indoor 250 m long Olympic cycling track, the only one in the Baltic States. The arena hosted the FIBA EuroBasket 2011 Group A matches and the European Track Championships. In 2021 Velodrome hosted the second stage of inaugural 2021 UCI Track Champions League. Panevėžys (; Latin: ''Panevezen''; pl, Poniewież; yi, פּאָנעװעזש, ''Ponevezh''; see also other names) is the fifth largest city in Lithuania. As of 2011, it occupied with 113,653 inhabitants. A velodrome is an arena for track cycling. Modern velodromes feature steeply banked oval tracks, consisting of two 180-degree circular bends connected by two straights. The straights transition to the circular turn through a moderate easement curve. Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. The Omnisport Apeldoorn, also known as the Omnisportcentrum or simply called Omnisport, is a velodrome and multisport indoor arena in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Designed by FaulknerBrowns Architects the facility opened in 2008, it is divided into two halls: a cycling hall containing cycling track and athletics track, and a volleyball hall. European Track Championships
The European Track Cycling Championships are a set of elite level competition events held annually for the various disciplines and distances in track cycling, exclusively for European cyclists, and regulated by the European Cycling Union (UEC). They were first held in their current format in 2010, when elite level cyclists competed for the first time following an overhaul of European track cycling. The UEC agreed with the governing bodies of six other major European sports from 2018 to integrate its four Olympic-class events, including track cycling, into the new European Championships event on a quadrennial basis. 2021 UCI Track Champions League
The 2021 UCI Track Champions League was the first edition of the UCI Track Champions League, a track cycling competition held over four rounds in November and December 2021. It was established in March 2020 by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Discovery, Inc. as the UCI Track Cycling World League, before the UCI Track Champions League name was adopted the following November.
