I. N. Ulianov Chuvash State University is a public university located in Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash Republic, Russia. The university is one of the leading institutions of higher learning in Russia and is the scientific, educational and cultural center of the Privolsky Federal Region of the Russian Federation, which is highly regarded among national universities. Chuvash State University has over 10,000 students and 3,865 faculty, including 150 Professors (Dr. Habil.) and 600 Docents (Ph.D.). The rector is Andrey Aleksandrov. History In 1920 the revolutionary committee and the first congress of Councils of the Chuvash Autonomous district decided to create a university Cheboksary. The question about the creation of the Chuvash State University was raised again in 1958–1959, but even then it could not be done because of many problems connected with the absence of the material base and lack of scientific staff in the republic. The Chuvash State Symphony Capella ( cv, Чӑваш патшалӑхӗн академи симфони капелли) — the musical group of the Chuvash Republic, established in 1967. Chuvash State Academic Song And Dance Ensemble
Chuvash State Academic Song and Dance Ensemble is a Russian art collective, originally named the Chuvash National Choir. History The team was founded in 1924 by Chuvash professional music composers and choral conductors F.P. Pavlov (1892–1931) and V.P. Vorobyov (1887–1954) as the Chuvash National Choir. Its leaders began to gather and process Chuvash folk songs, performing them for the public in Chuvashia and throughout Russia. In the 1920s the choir toured in Moscow, Leningrad and Gorky. Cheboksary Physics and Mathematics School — special boarding school in the Chuvash State University. Location: 24, str. Urukova, Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic, RSFSR. Now closed. Miss Russia 2018
Miss Russia 2018 was the 26th Miss Russia pageant, held in the concert hall Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow on 14 April 2018. Fifty contestants from around Russia competed for the crown. Polina Popova of Sverdlovsk Oblast crowned her successor Yulia Polyachikhina of Chuvashia at the end of the event. The competition was hosted by Maxim Privalov and Vera Krasova. Yulia Polyachikhina represented Russia at Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. The second runner up, Natalya Stroeva entered Miss World 2018 in Sanya, China. Yulia Sergeyevna Polyachikhina (russian: Юлия Сергеевна Полячихина; born 6 February 2000) is a Russian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Russia 2018. She represented Russia at the Miss Universe 2018 competition but did not place. Nikolay Vasilyevich Fyodorov (russian: Никола́й Васи́льевич Фёдоров, cv, Фёдоров Николай Васильевич, ''Fyodorow Nikolay Wasilyewich''; born 9 May 1958) is the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council.
