Chute! (television Programme)
''Chute!'' is a British children's comedy television series broadcast on CBBC and presented by Ross Lee. It was originally broadcast between September and December 2007 and was cancelled after its first series. Lee played a version of himself trapped inside a rubbish tip at BBC Television Centre containing approximately 83,000 video cassettes covering the floor of the room. Overview Trapped in a rubbish tip with approximately 83,000 video cassettes, Lee's sole purpose seems to be to sort through the videos and share them with whoever comes to visit him (the viewer in this case – the episodes are shown through their point of view in first-person). According to the series' title theme, the viewer is a child that fell down the chute while taking part in a tour of the BBC Television Centre. Ross Lee
Ross David Lee (born 21 August 1973) is an English comedian, actor, writer, and television presenter. He is best known for his television shows ''Chute!'' (2007), ''Ross Lees Ghoulies'' (2008), and ''The Pranker'' (2011). TV career Lee's first TV appearance came on the 'Prime Time' segment of Noel's House Party in 1996. He was given 60 seconds of prime time television to do a weather forecast from his bath at home, and the negative reception from the shows studio audience led to fellow Yorkshireman Richard Whiteley being dipped in gunge. Ross Lee's Ghoulies Lee was the host of ''Ross Lee's Ghoulies'', a horror-comedy themed Saturday morning studio-based show which began broadcasting on Sunday 28 September and ended 13 December 2008 on Nickelodeon UK. William Edgar Oddie (born 7 July 1941) is an English writer, comedian, songwriter, musician, artist, birder, conservationist, television presenter and actor. He was a member of comedy trio The Goodies. Serious (TV Series)
''Serious'' is an observational documentary series made by the BBC and broadcast as part of their children's programming. It encompasses ''Serious Jungle'' (2002), ''Serious Desert'' (2003), ''Serious Arctic'' (2005), ''Serious Amazon'' (2006), ''Serious Andes'' (2007), ''Serious Ocean'' (2008) and ''Serious Explorers'' (2011). ''Serious Ocean'' consisted of ten 30-minute episodes, while each previous series was six 30-minute episodes. In each series a group of eight 12- to 15-year-olds embark on an expedition to an extreme part of the world, in order to help wildlife or assist in environmental projects.
