Chung Buk Free Economic Zone
The Chungbuk Free Economic Zone (CBFEZ) is a Free Economic Zone in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. It includes the cities of Chungju and Cheongju. The zone was announced on February 14, 2013. Location Chungbuk Free Economic Zone is a central transport hub in South Korea. Cheongju International Airport is located there. Investment Incentives Chungbuk is one of eight Free Economic Zones established to attract foreign investment. Korea Free Economic Zones (KFEZ) are designated to strengthen national competition for businesses and promote balanced regional development by improving living conditions and business environments for foreigners in South Korea. Chungju
Chungju (충주시) is a city in North Chungcheong province, South Korea. Uamsan is a mountain located within the outskirts of the city. The city is famous for the annual martial arts festival held in October. Also of note, former UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon grew up here. Cheongju
Cheongju () is the capital and largest city of North Chungcheong Province in South Korea. History Cheongju has been an important provincial town since ancient times. In the Cheongju Mountains, specifically in the one where Sangdang Sanseong is located, ruins dating from the Old Stone Age to the Bronze Age have been found. Settlements associated with the Paleolithic Age have also been discovered at Cheongju such as the Durubong Cave Site. Cheongju International Airport
Cheongju International Airport (Hangul: 청주국제공항; Hanja: 淸州國際空港; Revised Romanization: Cheongju Gukje Gonghang; McCune-Reischauer: Ch'ŏngju Kukche Konghang) is an international airport in Cheongwon-gu, South Korea. It also serves the cities of Daejeon and Sejong. In 2018, 2,453,649 passengers used the airport. It also houses the 17th fighter wing of the ROKAF.
