Chronometry
Chronometry (from Ancient Greek, Greek χρόνος ''chronos'', "time" and μέτρον ''metron'', "measure") is the science of the measurement of time, or timekeeping. Chronometry provides a standard of measurement for time, and therefore serves as a significant reference for many and various fields of science. The importance of the accuracy and reliability of measuring time provides a standardized unit for chronometric experiments for the modern world, and more specifically scientific research. Despite the coincidental identicality of worldwide units of time, time produces a measurement of change and is a variable in many experiments. Chronograph
A chronograph is a specific type of watch that is used as a stopwatch combined with a display watch. A basic chronograph has an independent sweep second hand and a minute sub-dial; it can be started, stopped, and returned to zero by successive pressure on the stem. More complex chronographs use additional Complication (horology), complications and can have multiple sub-dials to measure seconds, minutes, hours and even fractions of a second. In addition, many modern chronographs use moveable bezels as Tachymeter (watch), tachymeters for rapid calculations of speed or distance. Louis Moinet invented the chronograph in 1816 for use in tracking astronomical objects. Chronographs were also used heavily in artillery fire in the mid to late 1800s. The series is a video game franchise developed and published by Square, and is currently owned by Square Enix. The series began in 1995 with the time travel role-playing video game ''Chrono Trigger'', which spawned two continuations, '' Radical Dreamers: Nusumenai Hōseki'', and ''Chrono Cross''. A promotional anime called '' Dimensional Adventure Numa Monjar'' and two ports of ''Chrono Trigger'' were also produced. As of March 31, 2003, ''Chrono Trigger'' was Square Enix's 12th best-selling game, with 2.65 million units shipped. ''Chrono Cross'' was the 24th, with 1.5 million units shipped. Chrono Trigger
is a 1995 role-playing video game developed and published by Square. It was originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System as the first game in the ''Chrono'' series. The game's development team included three designers that Square dubbed the "Dream Team": Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Square's ''Final Fantasy'' series; Yuji Horii, creator of Enix's '' Dragon Quest'' series; and Akira Toriyama, character designer of ''Dragon Quest'' and author of the '' Dragon Ball'' manga series.
