''Christopher'' is the second studio album by American hip hop artist Sleep, a member of the Pacific Northwest hip hop collective Oldominion. It was initially released on Up Above Records on May 31, 2005 and re-released with bonus tracks on Strange Famous Records on November 24, 2009. Guest appearances include Masta Ace and Abstract Rude, among others. Music ''Christopher'' features guest performances from Abstract Rude, Zelly Rock, Pale Soul, Masta Ace, Josh Martinez, Toni Hill, Yadira Brown, and Skratch Bastid. The album is produced by Smoke M2D6 and Zebulon Dak of Oldominion, Maker, Vitamin D, Zavala and Pale Soul. Christopher Tafoya (born June 2, 1975), better known by his stage name Sleep or Sleep of Oldominion, is an American hip hop artist from Farmington, New Mexico, who is currently based in Portland, Oregon. He is a founding member of the Pacific Northwest hip hop collective Oldominion and hip hop duo The Chicharones alongside Josh Martinez. He is signed to Strange Famous Records. Early life Tafoya grew up in the small town community of Farmington, New Mexico. He is of Mexican descent. At the age of five, Sleep was already rapping and b-boying with his friends and relatives in the small town, with himself naming Run DMC as an important influence when he first began. Paul Murphy (born September 2, 1982), better known by his stage name Skratch Bastid, is a Canadian DJ and record producer. He is a three-time Scribble Jam DJ Battle winner. He is the first-ever Canadian DJ to be nominated for the Jack Richardson Producer of the Year Award, Juno Award for Producer of the Year. Matthew Edward Kimber (born August 6, 1977), better known by his stage name Josh Martinez, is a Canadian rapper, record producer and record label executive. In the early 2000s, Martinez started his own label, Camobear Records, to which fellow rap artist Moka Only is signed. Josh Martinez was once named by Urb Magazine as one of its "Next 100 Rising Stars". He is the MC of Abstract Tribe Unique, alongside dancers Zulu Butterfly and Irie Lion King, turntablist DJ Drez and producer Fat Jack.
