Abstract Rude
Aaron Pointer, better known by his stage name Abstract Rude, is a rapper from Los Angeles, California. He is the MC of Abstract Tribe Unique, alongside dancers Zulu Butterfly and Irie Lion King, turntablist DJ Drez and producer Fat Jack. He is also a member of Haiku D'Etat along with Myka 9 and Aceyalone and The A-Team along with Aceyalone. History Aaron Pointer is one of the original spawns of L.A.'s historical Good Life Cafe, a renowned open mic venue. Pointer would practice his rapping every Thursday night at Good Life. He is also a member of Project Blowed. In 2009, Abstract Rude released the album ''Rejuvenation'' on Rhymesayers Entertainment. It was entirely produced by Vitamin D. ''All Balls Don't Bounce'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Aceyalone. It was released in 1995 on Capitol Records. In 2004, it was re-released on Project Blowed and Decon as ''All Balls Don't Bounce: Revisited'' with a bonus disc. It was named by '' OC Weekly'' as one of the "Five Classic West Coast Rap Albums Turning 20 in 2015". Critical reception Writing for ''The Austin Chronicle'', Rashied Gabriel thought that the album's production and Aceylone's "various styles" worked to complementary effect. Prevail (musician)
Kiley Hendriks (born November 4, 1975), better known by his stage name Prevail, is a 4-time Juno Award winning Canadian hip hop artist raised in Victoria, British Columbia and based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prevail started rapping in 1990 with the guidance of his mentor Moka Only, and was a founding member of platinum-selling Swollen Members which consisted primarily of himself and Mad Child on vocals. Daniel Denton (born November 14, 1973), better known by his stage name Moka Only, is a Canadian underground hip hop artist. He has won 3 JUNO Awards, 5 MuchMusic Video Awards, and has been nominated for 11 Western Canadian Music Awards. Haiku d'Etat is a super group rap trio featuring Aceyalone and Myka 9 of Freestyle Fellowship and Abstract Rude of Abstract Tribe Unique. All three members are heavily affiliated with Project Blowed, Aceyalone and Abstract Rude being co-founders. The name "Haiku d'Etat" is a portmanteau of ''haiku'' and ''coup d'état'', implying something akin to a musical revolution or a "poetic takeover" as one of their songs puts it. Project Blowed is an open-mic workshop, its affiliated underground hip hop crew and record label based in Los Angeles, California at 3333 Leimert.
