Christián Herc
Christián Herc (born 30 September 1998) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Dunajská Streda and the Slovak national team. Club career On 25 August 2020, having been recalled from his planned two-year stay with Viktoria Plzeň, Herc moved on loan to another Czech club, this time joining Karviná for the 2020–21 season. In summer 2021, Herc had signed a two-year contract with Grasshopper Club Zürich, who had regained promotion to Swiss Super League. On 25 July 2023, he returned to Dunajská Streda, following the expiration of his contract in Switzerland. International career On 28 September 2021, Herc received his first call-up for the Slovak senior squad for two 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Russia and Croatia. Levice
Levice (; hu, Léva, Hungarian pronunciation: ; german: Lewenz, literally lionesses) is a town in western Slovakia. The town lies on the left bank of the lower Hron river. The Old Slavic name of the town was ''Leva'', which means "the Left One". The Slovak Super Liga is the top level football league in Slovakia, currently known as the Fortuna Liga due to a sponsorship arrangement. 2017–18 Slovak First Football League
The 2017–18 Slovak First Football League (known as the Slovak Fortuna Liga for sponsorship reasons) was the 25th season of first-tier football league in Slovakia, since its establishment in 1993. MŠK Žilina were the defending champions, after winning their 7th Slovak championship. Format changes Starting from this season, the competition format was changed. The previous 33-match round robin structure was replaced by a regular stage round of 22 games and a playoff round, where 12 teams are divided into two groups: championship group (top-6 teams after regular stage) and relegation group (bottom 6 teams). The playoff round uses a 10-game round robin structure. The top team in the championship group wins the league title and qualifies to next season's Champions League qualification; the runner-up and 3rd team obtain spots of next season's Europa League Qualification. The Professional Development League is a system of youth association football, football leagues that are managed, organised and controlled by the Premier League or by the Football League.
