Christina Schilling
Christina Schilling is a Danish songwriter, singer and musician. She has written songs for artists in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania and South Africa, and is part of the songwriting team Pixieland Productions. Schilling is a member, songwriter and vocalist of the jazz pop project Technicoloured Roses. Career As a songwriter Schilling has worked with artists and producers from Europe as well as the USA, and written several songs for national Eurovision preselevtions and Eurovision Song Contest. In 2013 she co-wrote the winner of Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2013. In 2009 she represented Ireland with the song "Et Cetera" performed by Sinéad Mulvey & Black Daisy in Moscow, Russia. OGAE Second Chance Contest 2009
The OGAE Second Chance Contest is a visual event which was founded in 1987 and is organised by branches of OGAE, the international fan club of the Eurovision Song Contest. Four nations competed in the first contest which took place in 1987. The competition was previously a non-televised event, but evolved over the years by the usage of video tape and later DVD, YouTube and streaming services. Each summer following the Eurovision Song Contest, each branch can enter one song that failed to win the country's national selection process for the contest. The members of each club choose amongst the songs that did not win and select one to represent the club in the event. Votes are cast by members of the OGAE clubs and are returned to the OGAE branch organising the particular year's event. Guest juries have been used to cast votes since 1993. Ireland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Lipstick" written by Dan Priddy, Lars Halvor Jensen and Martin Michael Larson. The song was performed by the duo Jedward. The Irish broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) organised the national final ''Eurosong 2011'' in order to select the Irish entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Lithuania participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Eastern European Funk" written and performed by the group InCulto. The Lithuanian broadcaster Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) organised the national final ''"Eurovizijos" dainų konkurso nacionalinė atranka'' (Eurovision Song Contest national selection) in order to select the Lithuanian entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway. The national final took place over four weeks and involved 34 competing entries. The results of each show were determined by the combination of votes from a jury panel and a public vote. The Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was the 54th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Moscow, Russia, following the country's victory at the with the song "Believe (Dima Bilan song), Believe" by Dima Bilan. Jonas Gladnikoff
Jonas Gladnikoff (born 11 January 1985) is a Swedish songwriter and music producer. Born in Täby, he began songwriting at an early age. Later in life he moved to Åland in Finland before eventually moving to Stockholm. He has written several songs for singers from across Europe, but is best known for writing entries for the Eurovision Song Contest and for various national pre-selections. He studied songwriting at the Music Production Academy Musikmakarna, graduating in 2006. In 2009 he co-wrote the song that represented Ireland. Örlygur Smári (born ) is an Icelandic producer/composer. Biography Smári was born in Iceland, Europe. Smári wrote Iceland's Eurovision Song Contest 2000 entry Tell Me!. He also wrote the song This Is My Life, which was the Icelandic entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. In 2010, Smári teamed up with Hera Björk to write the song Je ne sais quoi, which represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The song performed in the first semifinal on 25 May 2010 and came in third with 123 points. In the Grand Final four days later, however, the song came in 19th place having received 41 points.
