Christina Kim
Christina Kim (born March 15, 1984) is an American professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour and on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She is known for her animated style of play, flamboyant dress, and outgoing personality. Kim competed in eight events in 2001 on the Futures Tour and made three cuts and a tied for second once. Shortly after her 18th birthday, Kim turned professional and competed on the 2002 Futures Tour for prize money. Kim missed just one cut in 18 starts with 12 top-ten finishes. She won her first event as a professional in August 2002 - the Hewlett-Packard Garden State FUTURES Summer Classic in a six-hole playoff over future LPGA Tour star Lorena Ochoa. 2009 LPGA Championship
The 2009 LPGA Championship was the 55th LPGA Championship, played June 11–14 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This was the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour in 2009. Tour rookie Anna Nordqvist, age 22, won her first major title, four strokes ahead of runner-up Lindsey Wright. It was Nordqvist's first career win on the LPGA Tour. Beginning in 2005, this championship was played at Bulle Rock for five consecutive seasons, ending with this edition. The Dana Open Presented By Marathon, is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It was founded in 1984 and has been played yearly, except in 1986 and 2011, in Sylvania, Ohio, a suburb northwest of Toledo. The tournament is televised by Golf Channel. Shanshan Feng (, ; born 5 August 1989) is a Chinese former professional golfer who previously played on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She was the first player from China to become a member of the LPGA Tour, which she joined in 2008. Feng had 10 victories on the tour, including the 2012 LPGA Championship, a major title, in which she shot a bogey-free 67 in the final round to win by two strokes. She was the first player from China to win an LPGA major championship, as well as the first player from mainland China (male or female) to have won a major championship. The Lorena Ochoa Invitational was a women's professional golf tournament in México on the LPGA Tour. Hosted by Lorena Ochoa, the event debuted in November 2008 at the course where she learned to play, Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara. The Lorena Ochoa Invitational was a 72-hole limited-field tournament, limited to 36 golfers. 2014 LPGA Tour
The 2014 LPGA Tour was a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The Tour began at Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island in The Bahamas on January 23 and ended on November 23 at Grand Cypress Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). The most significant addition to the Tour in 2014 was a new team event, the International Crown. Rachel Hetherington
Rachel Hetherington (born 23 April 1972) is an Australian professional golfer playing on the American LPGA Tour. Hetherington played under her married name, Rachel Teske, from 2001–04. Career overview Hetherington was born in Port Macquarie, Australia. One of the greatest golfers to come out of Australia, she had a very impressive career as an amateur. Karrie Ann Webb (born 21 December 1974) is an Australian professional golfer. 2011 Solheim Cup
The 2011 Solheim Cup was the 12th Solheim Cup matches, held 23–25 September in Ireland at Killeen Castle in County Meath, northwest of Dublin. The biennial matches are a three-day contest for professional female golfers, between teams of 12 top players from the United States and Europe. Entering the 2011 matches, the U.S. had won the three recent competitions, with Europe's last victory coming eight years earlier in 2003 in Sweden.
