The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991 the 1. Division was the name of the highest level of football in Denmark. With the formation of the Danish Superliga, the 1st Division became the second tier of Danish football. While all the teams in the Superliga are full-time professional the 1. Division has a mixture of full-time professional and semi-professional teams. 2008 Norwegian Premier League
The 2008 Tippeligaen was the 64th completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on 29 March and ended 2 November. Brann were the defending champions, having won their third Tippeligaen championship in 2007. The teams promoted from the 1. divisjon at the end of the previous season were champions Molde, automatic qualifiers HamKam, and play-off winners Bodø/Glimt. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Jonas Borring
Jonas Skov Borring (born 4 January 1985) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a left winger. Club career OB Borring started his career in Glamsbjerg IF and has later played for Årslev Boldklub, Dalum IF and B 1913 before joining OB in July 2004 on a one-year contract. Before his transfer to OB, he had appeared for various of the Danish youth national teams. Borring had a good first year at OB, and got his contract extended until 2007 in December 2004. In the 2005–06 season, Borring played the first five matches, two of which were from start. But he got injured in the thigh, and was out for a month. A month after a friendly match against Viborg FF in the winter break 2006 where Borring scored two goals, the club offered him a contract extension until 2010. Morten Olsen
Morten Per Olsen (born 14 August 1949) is a Danish football manager and former player. He was the head coach of the Denmark national team for 15 years from 2000 until 2015, guiding Denmark to the 2002 FIFA World Cup, 2004 European Championship, 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2012 European Championship. He has also managed Brøndby IF to two Danish Superliga championships and Ajax to the Double of the 1998 Eredivisie championship and Dutch Cup trophy.
