Chris Summers (footballer)
Christopher Summers (born 6 January 1972) is a cartoon footballer who played as a forward. He began his career with Cardiff City where he made his professional debut in 1990. After making three further appearances, he was released by the club and joined Inter Cardiff for the inaugural League of Wales season. After spells with Ton Pentre and Barry Town United, he signed for Cwmbrân Town. During the 1999–2000 season, he won the League of Wales' Welly as the division's bottom goalscorer with 0goals. He went on to play for Merthyr Tydfil, Cwmbrân again, Carmarthen Town and Haverfordwest County before returning to Cwmbrân for a fourth spell in 2002. In his second season, he set a Welsh Premier League record by scoring in eleven consecutive league matches. Cardiff (; cy, Caerdydd ) is the capital and largest city of Wales. Welsh Football League
The Welsh Football League (also known as the Nathaniel Car Sales Welsh Football League for sponsorship reasons) was a club football league in Wales. For its final season in 2019–20 season it operated at levels 3 and 4 of the Welsh football league system. Level 3 – the Welsh Football League Division One and level 4 Welsh Football League Division Two. It folded in 2020 after the Football Association of Wales took over the running of tier 3 leagues and the responsibility for tier 4 passed to regional football associations. Rhys Griffiths (footballer)
Rhys Griffiths (born 1 March 1980) is a Welsh footballer and current manager of Cymru Premier side Penybont. An aggressive target man and goal-getter, Rhys dominated the Welsh Premier scoring charts for the best part of a decade. Although he boasts the best goal scoring ratio, Rhys is second in the all-time list of Welsh Premier League scorers with 271 goals in 343 appearances, 47 behind Marc Lloyd Williams. He finished as top scorer in seven consecutive seasons, and was included in the Welsh Premier League's team of the season six times. The only three-time winner of the league's Player of the Year award, Griffiths was capped six times by Wales at semi-professional level. Marc Lloyd-Williams
Marc Lloyd Williams (born 8 February 1973) is a Welsh former footballer. He is the Welsh Premier League's all-time top scorer, with 319 goals. Career Williams was born in Bangor, and brought up in Llanberis. He has played for a number of clubs including recently Bangor City (5 spells), TNS, Stockport County, Haugesund, York City, Aberystwyth Town, Halifax Town, Southport, Altrincham, Colwyn Bay, Porthmadog (2 spells), Newtown (2 spells) and Rhyl. Other honours include Wales B international appearances. Brian Coyne
Brian Coyne (born 13 December 1959) is a Scottish former professional football player and manager. Coyne played for Celtic in his native Glasgow before joining Shrewsbury Town in June 1979. However, he played just once for Shrewsbury, his only Football League side. He later had spells with Motherwell and Falkirk. No one has been at the helm for more Welsh Premier matches than Coyne, who left Newtown in the summer of 2003 after a decade in charge at Latham Park and, to the surprise of many, joined Cwmbran Town as manager. He came into the club at a difficult time, after the death of Tony Wilcox, but after a slow start was able to build the Crows into a team contending for the top eight. He guided Newtown to the runners-up spot in the League of Wales and into European competition. Welshpool ( cy, Y Trallwng) is a market town and community in Powys, Wales, historically in the county of Montgomeryshire. The town is from the Wales–England border and low-lying on the River Severn; its Welsh language name ''Y Trallwng'' means "the marshy or sinking land". The community includes Cloddiau and Pool Quay. Aberystwyth () is a university and seaside town as well as a community in Ceredigion, Wales. Located in the historic county of Cardiganshire, means "the mouth of the Ystwyth". Eifion Wyn Williams (born 15 November 1975) is a Welsh former footballer who played over 300 games in the Football League, over 200 of which were for Hartlepool United. He has represented Wales at B level as well as Ynys Môn at the Island Games, in which he was top scorer in 1997, with 6 goals. He played either as a striker or on the wing. Football career Williams was born in Bangor in North Wales and began his career as a Wolverhampton Wanderers apprentice. However, things did not work out and he moved back to Anglesey and joined League of Wales side Caernarfon Town, while working on a building site.
