Chris Parker (quarterback)
Chris Parker (born December 19, 1964) is a former American football quarterback who was a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Parker played for the London Capitals in the premier division of the BAFA National Leagues. He also played two seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) with the Denver Dynamite and Sacramento Attack. He first enrolled at Saddleback College before transferring to San Bernardino Valley College and then California State University, Northridge. Early years Parker played high school football at Aquinas High School in San Bernardino, California. He saw time mostly as a defensive back. College career Parker first played college football for the Saddleback Gauchos of Saddleback College as a free safety and quarterback. 1992 Sacramento Attack Season
The Sacramento Attack season was the first season for the Arena football franchise, and its only season in Sacramento, California. The Attack finished 4–6 and lost in the playoffs to the Detroit Drive. The franchise was originally going to be located in Los Angeles, California and be called the Los Angeles Wings, but the franchise never came into existence in Los Angeles, and moved to Sacramento as the Attack. 1992 Arena Football League Season
The 1992 Arena Football League season was the sixth season of the Arena Football League (AFL). The league champions were the Detroit Drive, who defeated the Orlando Predators in ArenaBowl VI. It is during the 1992 season that the first shutout in AFL history occurred. On June 13, the Orlando Predators defeated the San Antonio Force by a score of 50–0. To date, this remains the only shutout in AFL history, though there were other shutouts in the former AF2 after this. 1990 Denver Dynamite Season
The Denver Dynamite season was the third season for the Arena Football League franchise. With the same coaching staff in place from 1989, the Dynamite got off to a hot 4–1 start during the 1990 season. The attendance had been steadily rising during the season, with the final home game's attendance listed at 10,587. This included approximately 3,000 people who were admitted for free. The Dynamite would finish the season with a record of 4–4, good enough to clinch the 3rd seed. The team lost 25–26 to the semi-finals to the Dallas Texans. The Florida Bobcats were an Arena Football League (AFL) team based in Sunrise, Florida. They were previously known as the Sacramento Attack and the Miami Hooters, and played in the AFL for a total of ten seasons, the last seven in West Palm Beach and Sunrise in the Miami metropolitan area. The team was founded in 1992 as the Sacramento Attack, based in Sacramento, California. After their first season they relocated to Miami as the Miami Hooters, so named through a marketing deal with the restaurant chain Hooters. After three seasons the Hooters sponsorship was dropped and the team moved north to Sunrise where it changed its name. The Britbowl is the championship game of the British American Football National League, and formerly the British American Football League (BAFL) in the United Kingdom. Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage.
