Chris Korb
Chris Korb (born October 8, 1987) is a former American soccer player who last played in 2017, for D.C. United in Major League Soccer. Early life Korb was born on October 8, 1987 in Ohio to Rozann and Kenneth Korb. His dad coached his first soccer team. Career Youth While playing for the University School, Korb was named Team MVP in 2005 and All-Ohio honoree and also served as team captain. He began his collegiate career at Xavier University in 2006 and appeared in 18 games with 18 starts and 2 assists. He transferred to the University of Akron following the 2006-2007 season and sat out for a portion of the 2007-2008 season with a quad injury. As a redshirt sophomore, he played all 23 games and scored his first career goal against Hartwick College during the MAC semifinals in November. 2011 MLS SuperDraft
The 2011 MLS SuperDraft was the twelfth annual SuperDraft presented by Major League Soccer. It was held on January 13, 2011 in Baltimore, Maryland, during the 2011 NSCAA Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. NCAA Men's Division I Soccer Championship
The NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament, sometimes known as the College Cup, is an American intercollegiate soccer tournament conducted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and determines the Division I men's national champion. The tournament has been formally held since 1959, when it was an eight-team tournament. Since then, the tournament has expanded to 48 teams, in which every Division I conference tournament champion is allocated a berth. The 2017 MLS Re-Entry Draft took place on December 15, 2017 (Stage 1) and December 21, 2017 (Stage 2). All 23 Major League Soccer clubs were eligible to participate. The priority order for the MLS Re-Entry Draft was reverse order of finish in 2017, taking into account playoff performance. The 2018 expansion team, Los Angeles FC, had selection 23.
