Chloé Mortaud
Chloè Mortaud (born 19 September 1989, Lisieux, Calvados) is a French actress and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss France 2009. She represented the Albigeois Midi Pyrénées, a southwest region of France, and became the first winner of the Miss France beauty pageant to have dual citizenship, French and American. Mortaud received US citizenship through her mother, an African American who emigrated from Mississippi to France, and has a grandmother who lives in Los Angeles. Her father is French and she has a younger brother Grégoire Mortaud. Miss Universe 2009 Mortaud represented France at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant and finished in 6th place overall barely missing the top 5 by a mere one-fifth of a point (0.219). Miss France 2009, the 62nd edition of the Miss France pageant, was held in Puy du Fou, Pays de la Loire on December 6, 2008. It was the first time that the pageant took place in Puy du Fou and the Pays de la Loire region. The ceremony was held at TF1, and was presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault and the national director Sylvie Tellier. Miss Universe 2016
Miss Universe 2016 was the 65th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Mall of Asia Arena, in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on January 30, 2017. This is the second time in the history of the competition that the pageant skipped an entire year, following the 2014 pageant which was held in January 2015. At the end of the event, Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines crowned Iris Mittenaere of France as Miss Universe 2016. This is France's first victory in 63 years, and the second victory of the country in the pageant's history. Contestants from 86 countries and territories competed in this year's pageant.
