Chitrali (magazine)
''Chitrali'' (Bengali:''চিত্রালী'') was a Bengali-language film magazine. Its publisher was the Observer House. It was a weekly magazine, published every Friday. The magazine was very popular. Syed Mohammad Parvez was editor and Syed Shamsul Haque was the co-editor of the magazine at the time of establishment. Currently this is a defunct weekly. History ''Chitrali'' was established in 1953 in East Bengal, Pakistan by journalist Syed Mohammad Parvez. Later Co-editor Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury institutionalized the magazine. Its office was in the Co-operative Book Society Building next to Bahadur Shah Park in Dhaka. It was printed in the form of 'Broadsheet'. Chitrali's publishing rights were sold to the Observer House in 1959 due to losses incurred in producing the film '' Matir Pahar'' by the editor. Kaler Kantho
''Kaler Kantho'' ( bn, কালের কণ্ঠ, translit=Daily Voice of Time) is one of the most popular Bengali newspapers in Bangladesh. It is an enterprise of East-West Media Group, a sister concern of Bangladesh's leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group. The same group owns ''Bangladesh Pratidin'', '' Daily Sun'', News24, Radio Capital and '' Banglanews24''. Abed Khan was the founder editor of ''Kaler Kantho''. The daily was first published on 10 January 2010. After a short span of time Khan resigned as editor (June 2011). After Abed Khan's resignation Imdadul Haq Milan, a popular novelist from Bangladesh became the editor. Shahed Mohammad Ali, former senior news editor of Prothom Alo became the acting editor on 3rd October 2021 after Imdadul Haq Milan had become the director and brand ambassador of East West Media Group. East Pakistan
East Pakistan was a Pakistani province established in 1955 by the One Unit Policy, renaming the province as such from East Bengal, which, in modern times, is split between India and Bangladesh. Its land borders were with India and Myanmar, with a coastline on the Bay of Bengal. East Pakistanis were popularly known as "Pakistani Bengalis"; to distinguish this region from India's state West Bengal (which is also known as "Indian Bengal"), East Pakistan was known as "Pakistani Bengal". Asaduzzaman Noor (born 31 October 1946) is a Bangladeshi actor, politician and activist. He has been a Jatiya Sangsad member from Nilphamari-2 constituency since 2001 and served as the Cultural Affairs Minister during 2014–2019. Noor worked as an actor in theatre, film and television productions. He is best known for his role as Baker Bhai in the television series '' Kothao Keu Nei''.
