Chirag Suri
Chirag Bobby Suri (born 18 February 1995) is an Indian-born cricketer who represented the United Arab Emirates national cricket team between 2017 and 2023. In January 2021, Suri was named as the vice-captain of the United Arab Emirates cricket team. Personal life Suri was born in New Delhi, India. He moved to the UAE with his family in 2004. He attended Repton School Dubai. As of 2013 he was studying business management at Heriot-Watt University Dubai. International career Suri represented the United Arab Emirates national under-19 cricket team at the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his first-class debut for the UAE senior team against Namibia in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 16 September 2017. T10 League
T10 League or Abu Dhabi T10 is a Ten10 cricket league in the United Arab Emirates launched and owned by T Ten Sports Management. The league is approved by the Emirates Cricket Board. Matches are 10-overs-a-side and the duration of each match is approximately 90 minutes. The tournament is a double round-robin followed by Eliminators and the Final. The International Cricket Council (ICC) officially sanctioned the league in 2018 as a semi-professional cricket tournament. The 2019 Global T20 Canada was the second edition of the Global T20 Canada, a 20-over professional cricket tournament, played at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario. Emirati Cricket Team In Oman In 2021–22
The United Arab Emirates cricket team toured Oman in February 2022 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Muscat. The fixtures formed part of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tournament, and were arranged to make up for matches between the two sides that were previously postponed during the fourth and eighth rounds of the competition. Oman's Jatinder Singh (106) scored a century in the first match, but Chirag Suri (115) led the visitors to a four-wicket victory. United Arab Emirates Cricket Board is the governing body of certain cricket activities in United Arab Emirates. It is United Arab Emirates's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an Associate Member and has been a Member of that body since 1990. The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine which teams would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The Australian cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates from September to October 2018 to play two Tests and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Pakistan.
