''Chinna Veedu'' (; colloquial meaning: "Mistress") is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by K. Bhagyaraj. The film is the debut in Tamil for lead female Kalpana, who is also sister of actress Urvashi, who made her debut with K. Bhagyaraj in the 1983 film ''Mundhanai Mudichu''. Plot Madanagopal is a bachelor who dreams about his future wife as a dream girl who has to be beautiful from head to toe. But his parents arrange marriage with a girl, Bhagyalakshmi, without his consent. Kalpana (Malayalam Actress)
Kalpana Ranjani (5 October 1965 – 25 January 2016), better known mononymously as Kalpana, was an Indian actress who appeared in South Indian films, predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil. Kalpana has acted in over 300 films in various South Indian languages. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film '' Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child.
