Chinese Ministry Of Agriculture
The Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) was an executive state agency within the government of the People's Republic of China. Its responsibilities were assumed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on March 19, 2018. Areas of responsibility included agriculture and environmental issues relating to agriculture, fishery, consumer affairs, animal husbandry, horticulture, animal welfare, foodstuffs, hunting and game management as well as higher education and research in the field of agricultural sciences. The ministry is headquartered in Beijing. Emblem Of The People's Republic Of China
The National Emblem of the People's Republic of China contains in a red circle a representation of Tiananmen Gate, the entrance gate to the Forbidden City, where Mao Zedong declared the foundation of the People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1949. Above this representation are the five stars found on the national flag. The largest star represents the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), while the four smaller stars represent the four social classes as defined in Maoism. Sun Zhengcai
Sun Zhengcai (; born September 25, 1963) is a former Chinese politician and senior regional official. From 2012 to 2017, Sun served as the Communist Party Secretary of Chongqing, an interior municipality, and a member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party. Prior to that, he served as the Party Secretary of Jilin province, and Minister of Agriculture of China. Sun was abruptly removed from office in July 2017 and put under investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI). The CCDI accused him of political and criminal wrongdoing, and he was expelled from the Chinese Communist Party. He was convicted of bribery and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2018. Du Qinglin (; born November 1946 in Panshi, Jilin City, Jilin) is a politician of the People's Republic of China. He formerly serves as vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and a Secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Chen Yaobang (; born December 1935) is a retired politician and former Minister of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China. Biography Chen is a native of Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong. He received an undergraduate degree in plant conservation from Huazhong Agricultural Institute (now Huazhong Agricultural University) in 1957, and a graduate degree in plant pathology and agricultural antibiotics in 1966. Liu Jiang (; born April 1940) is a retired Chinese politician who served as Minister of Agriculture between 1993 and 1998. Liu was a member of the 15th CPC Central Committee and 16th Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. He was also a member of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a member of the 11th Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Liu Zhongyi (; October 1930 – 5 January 2020) was a Chinese politician who served as Minister of Agriculture from 1990 to 1993 and Vice Minister of the National Development and Reform Commission from 1985 to 1990.
