China Airlines (CAL; ) is the state-owned flag carrier of the Taiwan, Republic of China (Taiwan), and one of its two major airlines along with EVA Air. It is headquartered in Taoyuan International Airport and operates over 1,400 flights weekly (including 91 pure cargo flights) to 102 cities across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. The Consolidated PBY Catalina is a flying boat and amphibious aircraft that was produced in the 1930s and 1940s. In Canadian service it was known as the Canso.
