Chifeng University
Chifeng University (赤峰学院) is a public university formed by the combination of Chifeng Normal College of Nationalities and other four academies. It was approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in 2003. It is in the city of Chifeng, the birthplace of the Hong Shan cultures. (The city has scenic spots and is a tourist destination.) Chifeng
Chifeng ( zh, s=赤峰市), also known as Ulanhad ( mn, (Улаанхад хот), ''Ulaɣanqada qota'', , "red cliff"), is a prefecture-level city in Southeastern Inner Mongolia, People's Republic of China. It borders Xilin Gol League to the north and west, Tongliao to the northeast, Chaoyang ( Liaoning) to the southeast and Chengde (Hebei) to the south. The city has a total administrative area of and as of the 2020 census, had a population of 4,035,967 inhabitants (4,341,245 in 2010). However, 1,175,391 of those residents lived in the built-up (or metro) area made of the 2 urban districts of Hongshan and Songshan, as Yuanbaoshan is not conurbated yet. Hong Shan
Coordinates: Hong Shan, Hongshan or the Red Mountain (; Pinyin: Hóng Shān; ug, قىزىلتاغ, Қизилтағ; ''Qiziltagh'') is an inner city mountain in Ürümqi, capital of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. The mountain, sometimes referred to as a hill for its smaller size than a mountain in land form, is the symbolic scenic spot of Ürümqi.
