Chiaka Ogbogu
Chiaka Sylvia Ogbogu (born April 15, 1995) is an American professional volleyball player. She plays for VakıfBank S.K. and the United States women's national volleyball team, United States women's volleyball team. She participated in the 2018 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup, 2018 Pan American Cup and the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, 2018 and 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. Ogbogu led Coppell High School to two straight volleyball Texas state championships in 2011 and 2012, and then played for University of Texas at Austin. On a club level, she started her professional career for Azzurra Volley San Casciano, Il Bisonte Firenze. She is currently playing for the Turkish club VakıfBank S.K., VakifBank. On June 7, 2021, US National Team head coach Karch Kiraly announced she would be part of the 12-player Olympic roster for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Imoco Volley is an Italian women's volleyball club based in Conegliano and currently playing in the Serie A1. History The club was founded on 15 March 2012, two months after the bankruptcy of the other volleyball team in Conegliano. In April 2012, it acquired a Serie A1 licence from , that meant the club started playing directly at the highest Italian league. It has been playing under the name since its foundation in 2012. Karch Kiraly
Charles Frederick "Karch" Kiraly () (born November 3, 1960) is an American volleyball player, coach and broadcast announcer. In the 1980s he was a central part of the U.S National Team that won gold medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games. He went on to win the gold medal again at the 1996 Olympic Games, the first Olympic competition to feature beach volleyball. He is the only player (man or woman) to have won Olympic medals of any color in both the indoor and beach volleyball categories. He played college volleyball for the UCLA Bruins, where his teams won three national championships under head coach Al Scates. 2018 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The 2018 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the 17th edition of the annual women's volleyball tournament. It was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from 8 to 14 July.
