Chet Hanulak
Chet Hanulak (March 28, 1933- September 10, 2021) was a former professional American football player who played running back for four seasons for the Cleveland Browns. Hanulak played football at Hackensack High School and was recruited to play on the Maryland Terrapins football team after his high school coach met the Maryland coach while both were attending a summer course. Nicknamed the "Jet," Hanulak was awarded All American status for his football accomplishments at the University of Maryland and still remains atop Maryland’s all-time rushing list, averaging 8.13 yards a touch over his three seasons. He was a member of the Gamma Chi Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at the University of Maryland. Chet Raymo (born September 17, 1936 in Chattanooga, Tennessee) is a noted writer, educator and naturalist. He is Professor Emeritus of Physics at Stonehill College, in Easton, Massachusetts. His weekly newspaper column ''Science Musings'' appeared in the Boston Globe for twenty years. This is now a daily blog by him. Chester A. Mutryn (March 12, 1921 – March 24, 1995) was a professional American football halfback and defensive back in the All-America Football Conference and the National Football League. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 20th round of the 1943 NFL Draft. Early life He attended Xavier University after having exploits as quarterback for Cleveland Cathedral Latin High School (now known as Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School). Chester Earl Lemon (born February 12, 1955) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder. A native of Jackson, Mississippi, he grew up in Los Angeles. He was drafted in the first round of the 1972 Major League Baseball draft and played 16 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox from 1975 to 1981 and for the Detroit Tigers from 1982 to 1990. He was selected as an American League All-Star in 1978, 1979, and 1984 and was the starting center fielder for the 1984 Detroit Tigers team that won the 1984 World Series. Chester Stanley Jaworski (November 8, 1916 – October 16, 2003) was the University of Rhode Island (URI)'s first All-American selection in men's basketball. As a senior in 1938–39, he led the nation in scoring at 22.9 points per game and was named the Helms Foundation College Basketball Player of the Year as well as a Consensus NCAA First Team All-American. Chester Andrew Jastremski (January 12, 1941 – May 3, 2014) was an American competition swimmer, Olympic medalist and world record-holder. Jastremski attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he swam for Doc Counsilman's Indiana Hoosiers swimming and diving team. He and Counsilman invented the "whip kick" to replace the frog kick, previously used in the breaststroke. The whip kick minimized drag and accentuated Jastremski's very powerful shoulders and upper arms. Over the years, the original whip kick (done from the knee to feet) morphed into the breaststroke kick that uses the entire leg.
