Cheongdam Bridge
Cheongdam Bridge () is a bridge over the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. It is the 18th bridge to be constructed over the river. The bridge links the Gwangjin and Gangnam districts. It carries a section of Line 7 of the Seoul Subway, between Cheongdam Station and Ttukseom Resort Station Ttukseom Park Station ( ko, 뚝섬유원지역) is a rapid transit station on Seoul Subway Line 7. It is located in Noyu-dong in the Gwangjin-gu administrative district of Seoul. Han River (Korea)
The Han River or Hangang () is a major river in South Korea and the fourth longest river on the Korean peninsula after the Yalu River, Amnok (Yalu), Tumen River, Tuman (Tumen), and Nakdong rivers. The river begins as two smaller rivers in the eastern mountains of the Korean peninsula, which then converge near Seoul, the capital of the country. The Hangang River and its surrounding area have played an important role in Korean history. The Three Kingdoms of Korea strove to take control of this land, where the river was used as a trade route to China (via the Yellow Sea). Rapids are sections of a river where the river bed has a relatively steep gradient, causing an increase in water velocity and turbulence. Rapids are hydrological features between a ''run'' (a smoothly flowing part of a stream) and a '' cascade''. Ttukseom Resort Station
Ttukseom Park Station ( ko, 뚝섬유원지역) is a rapid transit station on Seoul Subway Line 7. It is located in Noyu-dong in the Gwangjin-gu administrative district of Seoul. It is the only station in South Korea to be located on the underside of a bridge, beneath Cheongdam Bridge. The station also runs underneath a highway with two exits being south of the highway and two north. The south exits serve Ttukseom Park, while the north exits serve Noyu-dong which is administered by and consists of Jayang 3-dong and Jayang 4-dong which contain some residential towers with small shops and other mixed commercial and residential areas. The station is serviced by a single bus route which is located at exit 4. Before Line 7 opened the station was known as Jayang Station (자양역). The Seoul Metropolitan Subway is a metropolitan railway system consisting of 23 rapid transit, light metro, commuter rail and people mover lines located in northwest South Korea. Seoul Subway Line 7
Seoul Subway Line 7 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway was built from 1990 to 1996 (Jangam- Konkuk Univ.) and was completed on August 1, 2000 (central section 17 km. Konkuk University to Sinpung); the western section between Sinpung and Onsu was put into service on February 29, 2000. This north-south line does not run through the city centre but links Gangnam directly to the northeastern districts of Seoul. In 2019, Line 7 had an annual ridership of 380 million or 1.04 million passengers per day. Although most trains stop an Jangam and Seongnam, some trains short turn at Onsu station. Gangnam District ( ; , ) is one of the 25 local government districts which make up the city of Seoul, South Korea. Gangnam translates to "South of the (Han) River". Gangnam District is the third largest district in Seoul, with an area of . As of the 2017 census, Gangnam District had a population of 561,052.
