Chen Zhonghe
Chen Zhonghe (, born 2 October 1957 in Zhangzhou) is a Chinese former volleyball coach. He was the head coach of the Chinese women's national volleyball team from 2001 to 2009 and the man behind the gold medals of the 2003 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup and the 2004 Athens Olympics. Huang Bo and Peng Yuchang Peng Yuchang (, born October 25, 1994) is a Chinese actor and singer, who gained recognition after appearing in ''Our Shining Days'' and Hu Bo's award-winning film '' An Elephant Sitting Still.'' Zhangzhou (), alternately romanized as Changchow, is a prefecture-level city in Fujian Province, China. The prefecture around the city proper comprises the southeast corner of the province, facing the Taiwan Strait and surrounding the prefecture of Xiamen. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. Chinese Women's National Volleyball Team
The China women's national volleyball team () represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. They are one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball, having won ten championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including five World Cups (1981, 1985, 2003, 2015, 2019), two World Championships (1982, 1986) and three Olympic titles (1984, 2004, 2016). The current head coach is Cai Bin. China took five consecutive World titles in the 1980s. 2003 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup
The 2003 FIVB Women's World Cup was held from 1 to 15 November 2003 in Japan. Twelve women's national teams played in cities all over Japan for the right to a fast lane ticket into the 2004 Summer Olympics. Teams were made up as follows: hosts Japan, continental champions and vice-champions from Europe, Asia, NORCECA and South America, continental champion from Africa, and two wild-card teams nominated jointly by the FIVB and the Japan Volleyball Association. The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ) is a campus of the public Chinese University of Hong Kong in Shenzhen, Guangdong.
