Chen Chen (born Chang Chia-Chen, July 17, 1948) is a Taiwanese actress active in the late 1960s and 1970s. From 1966 to 1986 Chen Chen has starred in about 90 movies. Her work was in a range of genres, from Taiwan's literary romantic films (愛情文藝片; Pīnyīn: Ai Qing Wen Yi Pian) to patriotic films, and earned her various accolades, including two Best Actress awards at the Asian Pacific Film Festival. In 2013, Chen Chen received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 50th Golden Horse Awards. Early life Originally named Chang Chia-Chen, Chen Chen was born on July 17, 1948, in Beiping (now Beijing). Her grandfather, Chang Hong-Chun (Chinese: 章鴻春), was the principal of the Army Cavalry School of the Republic of China. Richard Li Han-hsiang (; 7 March 1926 in Huludao, Jinxi, Liaoning – 17 December 1996 in Beijing) was a Chinese film director. Li directed more than 70 films in his career beginning in the 1950s and lasting till the 1990s. His ''The Enchanting Shadow'', ''The Magnificent Concubine'', and ''Empress Wu Tse-Tien (1963 film), Empress Wu Tse-Tien'' were entered into the Cannes Film Festival in 1960, 1962, and 1963 respectively. Li also won the Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards for his work on the movie ''Xi Shi'' in 1965. Most of his movies in the 1970s and 1980s were Chinese historical dramas. Shaw Brothers (HK) Ltd. () was the largest film production company in Hong Kong, and operated from 1925 to 2011. Charlie Chin
Charlie Chin Hsiang-lin (; born May 19, 1948) is a Taiwanese actor. Background Born in Nanjing, China in 1948, he first had his break when he moved to Hong Kong with his family at an early age. At only 12 years of age Charlie moved to Taiwan to join Fuxing Opera School, a Peking opera school. At the age of 20 he moved back to Hong Kong to join Cathay Organisation. His movie debut came in the film '' Xia Ri Chu Lian'', literally translating to "The First Love In Summer". With Brigitte Lin, Joan Lin and Chin Han, the four eventually became known as the "Two Chins, Two Lins" () which became iconic of 1970s romance films in China. The names became a guarantee of box office success, and so Charlie was constantly paired with one of the '2 Lins'. Charlie won 2 Golden Horse Awards and in 2000 he also presented one in Taiwan.
