Charlie Storwick
Melissa Faith Storwick (born November 13, 1998 in Calgary, Alberta), known professionally as FAANGS (formerly Charlie), is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress. She was the winner of The Next Star season 4, and starred as Piper Gray in YTV's ''Some Assembly Required''. Storwick now records music under the name FAANGS and has written songs for Ashnikko and Rico Nasty. Personal life Storwick stated in an interview for The Next Star that she is inspired by all types of music. Growing up in Calgary, Storwick was obsessed with watching performers on TV, always ready to entertain strangers on trips to the grocery store with her mom. She was encouraged to take up hobbies to keep her mind active outside of school and was put into lessons to learn the trumpet and violin, eventually focussing on the piano above all, dropping the tuition and teaching herself by ear. ''The Voice Kids'' is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The first series began airing on 10 June 2017, being broadcast on a weekly basis on ITV. Mother Mother is a Canadian indie rock band based in Quadra Island, British Columbia. The band consists of Ryan Guldemond on guitar and vocals, Molly Guldemond and Jasmin Parkin on vocals and keyboard, Ali Siadat on drums, and Mike Young on bass. Longtime bassist Jeremy Page left the band in 2016. In 2005, they independently released their self-titled debut album under the band name Mother. They later changed their name to Mother Mother, and re-released the album on Last Gang Records in 2007. Retitled '' Touch Up'', the reissue also featured several new songs. Labinot Gashi (; born 4 October 1989), known mononymously as Gashi (stylised as GASHI), is a Libyan-Albanian rapper, singer and songwriter. Biography Labinot Gashi was born in Libya, on October 4, 1989, to ethnic Albanian parents from Kosovo. He spent his childhood as a refugee in several African and European countries before settling in Brooklyn, New York City, at the age of 10. Struggling to pick up the English language, he turned to music to help ease his adjustment into society, and quickly became hooked to rap. Henry Smithson (born 13 September 1978), best known by his stage name Riton ( ), is an English electronic music DJ and producer from Newcastle upon Tyne.
