Charlie McGeoghegan
Charlie McGeoghegan (born 29 July 1974) is a Canadian former politician. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in a by-election on 15 October 2007, following the resignation of Pat Binns. He represented the electoral district of Belfast-Murray River from 2007 to 2015 and is a member of the Liberal Party. McGeoghegan was also the party's candidate in the general election on 28 May 2007. Arm wrestling After completing high school, he attended the Canadian Coast Guard College in Point Edward, Nova Scotia. Prior to entering elected politics, McGeoghegan was a fisherman and a competitive arm wrestler. Montague, Prince Edward Island
Montague is a community within the Town of Three Rivers in Kings County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Previously incorporated as a town, it amalgamated with the Town of Georgetown, the rural municipalities of Brudenell, Cardigan, Lorne Valley, Lower Montague, and Valleyfield, and portions of three adjacent unincorporated areas in 2018. Canadian Coast Guard College
The Canadian Coast Guard College (CCGC) is a maritime training college and Canadian Coast Guard facility located in Westmount, Nova Scotia—a suburb of the former city of Sydney in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality. The CCGC core training program revolves around a 4-year Officer Cadet program that prepares navigation and engineering officers for service on Canadian Coast Guard ships. These cadets receive a Bachelor of Technology (Nautical Science) that is granted in collaboration with Cape Breton University. The 2007 Prince Edward Island general election was held on May 28, 2007. It elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The incumbent Progressive Conservative government was defeated by the Liberal opposition after holding power for eleven years. The newly formed Green Party captured 3.04% of the vote or 4.44% in ridings they contested, beating out the New Democratic Party for third place. Belfast, Prince Edward Island
Belfast is a rural municipality in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is located in southeastern Queens County in the townships of Lot 57 and Lot 58.
